Dell XPS10 New model

Dell

Dell is a very interesting company since they have primarily focused on building great Windows desktops and notebooks for consumers and businesses. In more recent years Dell has tried to make Windows Phones like the Dell Venue Pro, and Android phones like the Dell Streak. Dell has even attempted to create Windows 7 tablets like the Dell Inspiron Duo. Even though Dell has tried to make a great mobile device they really haven’t been very successful. That could potentially change since dell has three new Windows 8 devices that they are planning to release later this year.

XPS 10

The first Windows 8 device that Dell announced at IFA 2012 is the Dell XPS 10 which is Dell’s first ARM powered Windows RT tablet. Not a whole not is known about the XPS 10 right now but it seems to be similar to the form factor seen on tablets like the ASUS Transformer series. Essentially you are getting a 10-inch tablet computer that docks into a keyboard so that you can more easily type. Expect the XPS 10 to sell for a lower price point when it arrives later this year in October.
  • ARM processor
  • 10-inch display
