Apple MacBook $200 off Airs at Best Buy for next 2 days

If you’ve been on the fence about purchasing a MacBook, Best Buy has a sale that might tip you over into the yard. For just today and tomorrow, as part of the Winter Doorbuster sale, select MacBook Air models are $200 off.
The four standard MacBook Air models have all received the discount, which means for two days only, the price tag into the MacBook Air world is just $799, which will snag you the somewhat lacking 11.6-inch, 64GB SSD, 1.7GHz Core i5, 4GB of DDR3 RAM model. The same model, but with a slightly more respectable 128GB SSD will cost $899. For $999 — the normal price of that 11.6-inch entry-level model — you can nab the 13.3-inch, 128GB SSD, 1.8GHz Core i5, 4GB DDR3 RAM model. If you’re feeling like a big spender, you can drop $1,299 on an upgrade to a 256GB SSD.

Now, there is a bit of psychological maneuvering going on here. Many people would argue that Macs are overpriced, and whether or not that is true, you’d probably rather save $200 if you were to purchase a Mac, overpriced or not. At the time of writing, the entry-level $799 model isn’t available for shipping from the website, and can only be picked up in store.
If you’re going to hop on this sale, act quick, as it ends tomorrow. Also, be sure to check the website for availability and shipping options. If you haven’t tumbled into that yard yet, it might be worth noting that Apple normally charges $850 for a refurbished entry-level unit, whereas right now, you can grab a new one from Best Buy for $799.
