Acer
When you think of high end computers you probably don’t think of Acer. For the most part Acer hasn’t been considered a great PC company. In recent years that has actually started to change, and the new Windows 8 device that Acer unveiled this week really is showing that Acer can make great hardware.
Aspire S7
In my opinion the Acer Aspire S7 is one of the better ultrabook/tablet hybrids that we’ve seen so far at IFA 2012. It combines the really slim design that you’d find with a Windows 8 tablet, with the great hardware and features that you’d find with a Windows 8 notebook computer. Acer plans to launch the Aspire S7 at an unknown date, and at an unknown price point. Given that this is such a high end device it probably will cost $1,000+.
